FWIW, Olympia has at least 5 freshman playing J.V. An unconfirmed number of Sophomores were cut or given the opportunity to play on the "C" team, but I'm unsure of their choice.
Jamboree set for tomorrow but the fields looks like swamps, we'll see it it's a go. |

Let me just say this...
I think Olympia has the strongest group of 9th graders in the State. BOLD Statement, Yes, but the 9th graders at Olympia are STUDS!
Valenti
Padukiewics
just to mention two, but there are several others that are skipping my mind.
I think the Sophmores at Timberline area strong group.
That area down south is a baseball factory like Puyallup..
Speaking of... Puyallup plays host to Timberline next Friday night at Heritage. If you want to watch (what I think) will be a great game, I recommend to watch this game. I believe it's a 7pm start. |

| Hey Who in the league has played yet? Any pre-season games been played and whos standing where? All the talent left with 08 lol jk. There's still alot of good players? Vettleson continues to rake from when I was in high school? Little O. Olague will have a strong season on the mound too. |

| Have to agree that for the 1st game of the season, it was a good one. Gig Harbor looked the better of the 2, they should've won if their outfielder hadn't dropped the ball 3 times. Puyallup's 1st pitcher did well, the next 2 relievers didn't do a good job and had to bring in the short stop (Barry) to finish out the game. Looks like Puyallup will be relying on the fast ball to move them forward, a good hitting team will see this and take advantage of it. Should be a good game tonight depending on who Puyallup puts out on the mound. |
